On 7th of November, a ceremony took place at the Polish Embassy in Oslo to commemorate this significant holiday which is at 11th of November – Polish Independence Day! The event’s musical accompaniment was provided by members of the association: soprano Michalina Mikłosz and classical guitarist Justyna Skowronek.
The program featured Polish and Norwegian works, including Solveig’s Song by Edvard Grieg, Życzenie (A Maiden’s Wish) by Fryderyk Chopin, arranged for guitar and voice, and music from the Polish TV series Polskie Drogi by Andrzej Kurylewicz.
